A series of screenings of Polish films have taken place as part of Polska! Year. A retrospective of films by Wojciech Jerzy Has, accompanied by an installation by Brothers Quay, was prepared in cooperation with Kinoteka. Also present were films by Andrzej Wajda, including two most famous, epic works presenting the post-war history of Poland: Man of Marble and Man of Iron. The programme also featured some of the most recent productions, including 4 Nights with Anna by Jerzy Skolimowski, 33 Scenes from Life by Malgorzata Szumowska and Time to Die by Dorota Kedzierzawska. More Polish films were screened at the UK Jewish Film Festival: Korczak by Andrzej Wajda, Keep Away from the Window by Jan Jakub Kolski, as well as the 1937 film by Jan Nowina Przybylski The Jester.
